What a bright and beautiful morning it was as the Green Heaven community came together to celebrate our 80th Independence Day with pride, enthusiasm and a wonderful sense of togetherness.
The celebrations began with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by a heartfelt and emotional address by our senior resident, Mr. B. M. Sachdeva, which beautifully reminded us of the values, sacrifices and spirit behind our freedom.
The cultural programme that followed was a true reflection of the talent and enthusiasm within our community. Our children put up wonderful dance performances, soulful singing and very well-executed skits, showcasing not just their talent but also their camaraderie, teamwork and passion for our country and its values. Their performances filled the morning with energy, pride and plenty of smiles.
The event was wonderfully hosted by Mr. Ajay Verma, whose motivating and engaging script kept the spirit of the celebrations alive throughout the programme.
The performances were followed by prize distribution for the participants, recognising their enthusiasm and efforts. The celebrations concluded on a delicious note with refreshments enjoyed by everyone.
The event was brought to a close by our Society President, Mr. U. C. M. Gupta, who expressed his appreciation to the Cultural Committee members for their tremendous effort and dedication and applauded all the participants for making the celebration so special.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making the morning so memorable specially the cultural team led by Mrs Ankita Patel and Rashmi Verma, Ritu Singh, Priti Narnoli, Puja Bisht, Komal, Priyal Bhavsar. It was truly wonderful to see our community come together in the spirit of unity, pride and celebration.
